About Us Holmes Chapel Community Pre-school moved to our own premises in 1998 and we are conveniently situated within the grounds of Holmes Chapel Primary School. We have places for 24 children aged from 2½ to school age. We are a committee led registered charity (No. 1017112) and full members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA) The committee is responsible for the running of the pre-school and it consists entirely of volunteers, two thirds of whom are parents or guardians of children attending the pre-school. The committee are responsible for all aspects of the pre-school, apart from the content of the sessions, which is organised by our qualified staff. Our premises are set in their own grounds with large outdoor play areas.
Opening hours are from 9.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. We are registered with Ofsted Early Years, registration number (URN305107). View our latest Ofsted report Our staff are a highly qualified, committed and dedicated team who undertake ongoing training and development programs. To offer the highest standards of care, we provide above the recommended adult to child ratios. Our key worker system ensures that both you and your child have a named professional to support them during their time with us. Our pre-school is committed to providing the best possible care for the children who attend. While it may look and sound like the children are 'just playing', throughout the sessions great care is taken by the staff that the children are offered the right play opportunities to support their learning and development |
